Project Information
We had a busy and invigorating Local Enterprise Week in 2025 and production work began many weeks before the 3rd March.
We provided photography and a press release for the official launch on the Monday and we MC’d and provided photography, videography and a press release for the Meath Women in Biz & Tech Network event to mark International Women’s Day on the 5th.
The week concluded for us on the 7th when we were centrally involved in what is probably the most important project we have worked on to date – Meath LEO, under the leadership of Senior Enterprise Development Officer Lorna Cooney, was the first Local Enterprise Office in Ireland to provide a suite of tailored supports to meet the needs of local entrepreneurs who have a disability.
The ‘Entrepreneurship Programme for People With Disabilities’ was developed by Thomas Cooney, Professor of Entrepreneurship, TU Dublin. He welcomed the partnership with Meath LEO to pilot its delivery at a local level.
The official launch was at the Solstice Arts Centre, Navan featured guest speaker Jack Kavanagh whose powerful contribution was followed by a panel discussion, facilitated by Elaine, and involving David Nestor of Nestor Freight Services, Eva Burke of Neurodiversity Navan and Sheila Comiskey, Employability Meath Manager with Seetec. We also provided photography and videography.
